Our Sensory Steps are designed to provide nine different exciting textures for our little ones to explore. All of the sensory materials are fixed with food contact safe resin or adhesive, the wood is treated with child safe varnish conforming EN71-3 Toy Safety Standard. These wooden tiles can be used on any flat surface but if youre planning to use them on wooden floor please use a blanket or sheet under the Sensory Steps to protect your floor from scratches. If you prefer some textures over the others feel free to assemble your own set with your favourite textures by using the drop down menu where you can pick your individual tiles.

The Full Mixed Set of 9 tiles are containing glass pebbles, coir matting, rubber matting, cork, faux fur, artificial grass, cotton rug, colourful wooden hearts and colourful wooden half rounds. Ages between 6-18 months old.

Perfect for developing tactile awareness through exploring fun, everyday textures. Stimulating the senses with sensory development and ensuring a hands on approach. Please note, this toy is meant to provide a controlled environment for kids to discover interesting, everyday textures and as such this toy isnt safe to be used unsupervised.

Please take extra precaution with the glass pebbles tile since it contains real glass, dont let your child to drop hard, heavy things on it because it can break or chip. The Sensory Steps are designed to experiment with and are not suitable as a play-mat since some of the squares contain interesting yet uncomfortable pieces. Some tiles have randomly placed, random coloured pieces. We try our best to place the sensory material aesthetically on each tile but please do not expect the exact same tile as seen on the picture.
